Varghese Moolans Group of Companies has built a presence across the entertainment industry through three banners. Varghese Moolan Pictures, based in Mumbai, and Vijay Moolan Talkies, based in Chennai, are dedicated to producing feature films and web series — the home of 'Rocketry: The Nambi Effect' and 'G.D.N.' A third banner, Moolans Media Creations, based in Cochin, Kerala, works across television, music albums, advertising, graphic design and digital media.
Since 'Odu Raja Odu' marked the group's entry into feature films in 2018, the studio has built a reputation for ambitious biographical cinema — from the ISRO scientist behind 'Rocketry: The Nambi Effect' to the inventor at the heart of 'G.D.N.' — produced in partnership with collaborators including Tricolour Films and R. Madhavan.

'Rocketry: The Nambi Effect' was named Best Feature Film at the 69th National Film Awards — the studio's biggest honour to date — and had earlier screened at Cannes 2022.
